Knot Just Sailing! Sessions

The goal of Knot Just Sailing (a.k.a. KJS) is for our members to be able to brush up on or further their nautical knowledge. These sessions focus on a variety of important aspects pertaining to the sailing of the traditional Galway Hooker. Whether we are learning to tie knots, becoming familiar with the various parts and ropes that make up different types of hookers, or going through different emergency scenarios, these help our growing club to keep up to scruff so they are ready for sailing! In addition, it’s a weekly event that allows our members to socialise and have the craic with one another… something we all have missed!
